monday CRM vs HubSpot: which CRM fits your company in 2026?

A straight comparison of monday CRM and HubSpot for B2B companies. Pricing, marketing, AI, finance system integration and when each one is the right choice.

monday CRM and HubSpot often end up in the same evaluation, but they are built from different directions. HubSpot grew out of marketing and has built sales and service around it. monday CRM grew out of workflows and has built sales on top of the same platform as projects, delivery and service. That difference decides almost everything else. We are a monday.com partner, so read with that in mind. Even so, we have tried to write the comparison we would have wanted to read ourselves.

Short answer

Choose HubSpot if inbound marketing is the engine of your business: content, forms, landing pages, nurture flows and attribution at scale. Choose monday CRM if your biggest pain is the gap between sales and delivery, and you want pipeline, projects and follow-up in the same system with pricing you can predict.

Pricing is the biggest practical difference

HubSpot is easy to get started with. The free CRM is enough for a couple of users, and Starter is cheap. The cost comes when you need what makes HubSpot HubSpot. Workflows and advanced reporting sit on Professional, which adds a mandatory onboarding fee, and Marketing Hub is also priced by the number of marketing contacts. The step from Starter to Professional is what most often surprises the budget.

monday CRM has no free tier and requires at least three users. In return, the model is flat: one price per user and tier, with no contact-based pricing and no mandatory onboarding fee. The plans have caps on the number of active contacts and deals, so check that the tier you are looking at fits your records. Always check the current price list with each vendor, since both adjust their packages continuously.

Marketing: HubSpot wins here

There is no reason to pretend otherwise. HubSpot's Marketing Hub is a complete inbound system, with forms, landing pages, ad integration, automated flows and attribution. monday CRM has email sync with Gmail and Outlook, templates, mass emails and sequences, and monday.com has a separate campaigns product for email marketing. That is enough for a sales-driven B2B company, but it does not replace a full-scale marketing platform.

Many of our customers solve this by letting the marketing team keep its tool and having qualified leads land in monday CRM. It works well as long as the boundary is clear: marketing owns the contact until handoff, sales owns the deal after that.

Sales, delivery and follow-up: monday CRM wins here

In most service companies, the customer journey does not end when the deal is won. That is when the work begins. In monday CRM, a won deal creates a project with the right scope, the right contacts and the right agreed timeline, without anyone writing a handoff email. Management sees pipeline, utilization and delivery in the same dashboard.

In HubSpot, the information stays in the CRM unless you build an integration with your project tool. It can be done, but it becomes one more thing to manage.

AI

Both vendors are investing heavily. HubSpot gathers its AI features under the name Breeze. monday.com has the Sidekick assistant, AI blocks directly in columns to categorize, summarize and extract, and agents for lead research, meeting preparation and pipeline follow-up, among other things. The practical difference is where the AI works: in HubSpot mainly in the marketing and sales flow, in monday.com across all of the business's data.

Connection to the finance system

For many companies this is decisive. HubSpot has ready-made third-party apps for both Fortnox (the Swedish cloud accounting system) and Visma Net in its marketplace, with their own monthly fees. monday CRM has no ready-made connection from monday.com. Instead, we build it, tailored to what data should flow and when. That gives you a connection that follows your process instead of an app with fixed options, and we describe the setup in monday.com and Visma Net: how they fit together.

Partner support and custom apps

monday.com is a global platform, but you are not on your own with it. As a certified monday.com partner, we provide hands-on support: implementation, training, ongoing management and a contact person who knows your particular setup. You make the everyday changes yourselves. The bigger steps we take together, and that is where a partner who knows both the platform and your business makes the biggest difference.

When the standard features are not enough, we develop custom apps and integrations on the monday.com platform. It could be a lead flow from your marketing tool with your own qualification logic, a quote calculator with your pricing model or a customer portal. A need that monday.com does not solve out of the box is therefore rarely a reason to rule out the platform. Read more about how we build custom systems.

Frequently asked questions

Is monday CRM cheaper than HubSpot?

For a sales team that needs automation, reporting and sequences, monday CRM is usually cheaper, since HubSpot's equivalent features sit on Professional with a mandatory onboarding fee. For one or two users who can make do with HubSpot's free tier, HubSpot is the cheapest.

Can you use monday CRM and HubSpot together?

Yes. A common split is HubSpot for marketing and lead generation and monday CRM for pipeline, quotes and delivery. It requires a clear handoff point and an integration that syncs contacts and deals.

How hard is it to switch from HubSpot to monday CRM?

Contacts, companies, deals and activity history can be moved in a structured way. The hard part is rarely the data. The hard part is taking the opportunity to simplify the sales process in the same step instead of copying the old one as is.

Is there hands-on support for monday CRM?

Yes. monday.com has global support, and as a certified partner we provide hands-on support with implementation, training and ongoing management. You get a contact person who knows your setup.

Which system fits a service company with 20 to 200 employees?

If the business is relationship-driven with quotes, returning customers and delivery projects, monday CRM is usually the best fit. If growth is driven by content and high-volume inbound, HubSpot is the stronger choice.
